second night of anger in the southern city. by early morning ... police in riot gear controlled the streets of charlotte, north carolina. but just a few hours earlier, the scene was very different. a second night of unrest gripped the city ... as protesters angry over the death of keith lamont scott vented their rage scott was shot tuesday -- police say he brandished a weapon but his family says he was reading a book in his vehic.id the unrest national guard and the state highway pat charlotte. one person was shot by another civilian, according to authorities, and is in the hospital on life support. several police officers were j caught up in the chaos. (nats boris sanchez gassed) one reporter was knocked to the ground by a passing man. (nats ed lavendera knocked over) some demonstrators stood in front of the police line in an effort to maintain peace ... and there were those who tried to calm the tensions ... ((brian loftus)) >> detectives are now working to determine if there could be more victims. internist doctor jorge burgos was arrested at his office yesterday in north las vegas near lake mead and civic center.... the 50- year- old now faces lewdness charges. the investigation began after a patient came forward to police

((kirsten joyce)) >> sources close to the investigation say the probe is focused on city councilman ricki barlow. however, specific allegations have not been made public just yet. we do know the cou o served to the city earlier this week ... demanding the city preserve certain electronic records. we reached out to barlow, but have not yet heard back... however, the city did respond in a statement that reads: "the city of las vegas has received a records request from the fbi. the city is cooperating fully. because the records are now part of an ongoing investigation, the city is unable to elaborate on the details of the request."/// ((brian loftus)) coming up on 8 news now good day... drivers don't yield the right-of-way.. causing accidents on our roadways..
